The Velcro mechanism that connects the hand warmer to the recon base setup is awesome. The hand warmer itself is too loose and not quite long enough compared to other hand warmers in the market. The fleece lining is a little thin. I slit a hole in one of my old cheaper hand warmers and inserted the recon handwarmer inside. I was able to route the Velcro through the hole and connect to the base recon setup. As a bow hunter I prefer to not wear gloves, even in single digit temps, and rely on a hand warmer with a battery powered handwarmer inside. This works great but it requires quality equipment. While the base recon handwarmer is conveniently compatible with the AWESOME recon setup, this accessory still needs work.

The openings on the hand warmer are very big. This won鈥檛 allow any seal to prevent cold air from entering. It鈥檚 also undersized. And last point is it feels very thin. I haven鈥檛 tested it on cold weather yet so maybe it will outperform my expectations. I was just expecting it to be a bit more substantial in size. The rest of the bino harness set up is excellent. Quality I expect from Eberlestock.

Everything about this is perfect. I do wish though, that the holes where your hands go in, were a little bit tighter. They seem kind of loose and too open. Would like to have it a little tighter to keep the cold out!

Good quality hand warmer. Will fit gloved hands nicely I am between a lgr and xl size hand would recommend this product

Gave as a gift my son said very warm and likes how it attaches to his fear or waist . Handy to have.will get a lot of use out of them he said .
