The shoulder straps seem to come out from the pack at too high of a point, the attachment point for the shoulder strap should be lower on the pack. We bought these for our young and small children, the hip belt just doesn’t go small enough. But, I’m sure for a full grown adult it’s just fine.

I bought the X2 for its batwing design and floating top pouch. Typical use for me will be hauling bait (cabbage & corn) inside a dry-roll bag in the main compartment while subsequently utilizing the batwings and top pouch to secure my mid/outer layers on the way into my whitetail stand. There is a semi-stretchable green material used in various parts of the pack that while flexible I’m pondering its ability to hold up after years of use. I bought the Mountain cammo pattern and it blends in decent in the Michigan forests. Overall it fits my 5’9” 190lb frame very well.

No better pack than the X2 for saddle hunting.
Pack distributes the weight from shoulders to hips well. Has enough room for gear and quartered whitetail. With this pack there is no worries about how to get deer out of the deep stuff. Worth the money.

The X2 is the most versatile bag I’ve ever seen. It can easily haul sticks, a lock on, or saddle platform into the woods or an animal out of the woods COMFORTABLY, and probably both if you needed it to. Enough storage for any day hunt and feature rich with plenty of pockets. Don’t need the lock on? No problem, it’s a great back pack on its own. Love it!

It obviously weighs what it weighs. I love this pack. My intended use is saddle hunting. My kit packs out really well with 4 climbing sticks and platform. Straps are long and PALs/MOLLE capability allow me to attach TQ holders and my IFAK. There is no interior organization, however enough room to fit organization pouches in which works best for a hunter, keeping your application specific. I got this pack for saddle hunting deep into public land and it is the perfect pack for that. Very well made and designed.

The vertical sleeves on version 2 will hold 64 ounce Klean Kanteens for water. Version 1 could not. This is a big plus for me as I do not use water bladders. With this improvement, the X2 version 2 is now my preferred bugout bag when traveling.
